Treliant is seeking experienced EDD Analysts to join our team in Belfast, working on an upcoming EDD remediation project for one of our clients on a day rate contract basis.

The scope and nature of the projects on which you’ll work will vary however, examples of duties/responsibilities include:
Conduct retrospective reviews of customer transactions to identify potential suspicious behavior, including money laundering, fraud, and terrorist financing
Evaluate existing Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) alert documentation to determine completeness and accuracy in line with internal policies and regulatory obligations
Assess whether customer risk ratings are appropriately assigned, and recommend adjustments based on the substance and quality of documentation provided
Perform lookbacks on risk-based Customer Due Diligence (CDD), ensuring that profiles meet required standards and reflect current regulatory expectations
Identify and escalate red flags that suggest financial crime or compliance weaknesses, and help drive mitigatory actions
Recommend and make accurate adjustments to customer risk profiles within the client’s system as part of the remediation workflow
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and client teams to ensure project consistency, accuracy, and compliance alignment
Contribute to periodic progress reporting and quality reviews for project oversight
