Treliant seeks experienced project-based Regulatory Compliance Consultants to drive high quality Compliance Management System (CMS) risk assessment work and communicate project progress to clients and internal partners.  Treliant consultants are expected to stay current on financial service regulatory developments, industry best practices, and regulatory compliance topics.   This is a primarily remote opportunity, but travel to client sites may be necessary on an exception basis.

Primary Location Salary Range: $75/hr - $150/hr

Responsibilities

  • Review CMS process narratives and process flows, then perform a gap analysis to regulatory requirements
  • Perform current state process mapping
  • Assess current state processes for adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Make recommendations for changes to procedures and documentation
  • Create and maintain gap analysis detail reporting
  • Manage large data sets, troubleshoot, develop efficient processes for collecting and aggregating data, and synthesize data into KRIs and KPIs
  • Communicate effectively with the client, team members, and management
  • Identify issues and escalate as needed
  • Create and maintain reporting decks
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years’ experience in process, risk, control documentation evaluation
  • 4+ years’ Financial Services experience with a focus on compliance, deposit operations, and loan operations
  • Excellent verbal and written skills to include presentations and report writing to clients
  • Effective project management and leadership skills
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
  • Comfort working independently, as well as part of a broader team
  • Experience working in a deadline-driven consulting environment
  • Ability to plan, strategize, and manage time independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) and Business Process Mapping tools such as Visio
